‘सोमरा का दिसुम’ का अर्थ है सोमरा का देश। यह जानी-मानी मुंडा आदिवासी कथाकार काजल डेमटा के बांग्ला कहानी संग्रह ‘चा-बागिचार सांझ फजिर’ का हिंदी अनुवाद है। जो असम के सिलचर जिले के एक चाय बागान में जन्मीं और पली-बढ़ी हैं। इसका हिंदी अनुवाद डॉ. पूजा प्रभा एक्का ने किया है। डॉ. एक्का भी अलीपुरद्वार के चाय बागान की निवासी हैं। ‘सोमरा का दिसुम’ में कुल 13 कहानियां हैं जो चाय बागान की दिनचर्या को बड़े संवेदनशील ढंग से सामने रखती हैं। चाय बागान के किसी आदिवासी द्वारा लिखित यह एकमात्र कहानी संकलन है जिसमें बागान के सुख-दुख और संघर्ष का सबसे प्रामाणिक चित्रण हुआ है। ‘सोमरा का दिसुम’ जयपाल जुलियुस हन्ना साहित्य पुरस्कार 2023 से सम्मानित कृति है।
